This operation creates something, and needs a key so a retry cannot create it twice.
What to do
Send an Idempotency-Key header - a value unique to this request; a UUID per distinct request is the usual choice. Reuse the SAME key when retrying, or the retry is a second record.
Should you try again?
No. The same request will fail the same way. Change something first.

and a status. The
detail is written for a person
and we may reword it, so don't match on it. Some failures also carry a
violations list naming the fields
at fault.
